While a friend was studying wooden boatbuilding she told me that she needed a pair of spokeshaves. Though I was making spokeshaves full-time at , I thought I might be able to save her some money by remanufaturing some old tools in my spare time.
I dug up a pair of venerable iron spokeshave bodies at Liberty Tool Company and refinished & remachined them. I also built new improved blades and cap irons to make them complete.
